Looking for somewhere to eat this weekend in the Cotswolds? I’ve listed 3 great places to get your munch on!
From afternoon tea to burgers!
- The Bottle of Sauce (Cheltenham) – Hipster vibes, juicy burgers and plenty of craft beer! what’s not to like. My personal favourite is the ‘Big D’ burger with sweet potato fries however; there is so much choice that, you can’t really go wrong. Great food, great atmosphere and an all round great service!
2. Calcot Manor (Tetbury) – Simply incredible. A real slice of the Cotswolds and it will not disappoint. I can highly recommend the afternoon tea. Calcot offer a set afternoon tea for two as well as, allow you to create your own. Lovely scones and a really lovely, relaxed and charming surrounding. If you are looking for something a little more chilled then this place is worth the journey.
You will need to book in advance
3. The Exmouth arms (Cheltenham) – It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t suggest somewhere in the Cotswolds to sit down for a Sunday roast. For me there is only one choice, the Exmouth arms. Reasonably priced and starting at £12 you’ll find your plate filled with slabs of succulently cooked beef, amazing roast potatoes and some home grown veg. Simply incredible. Probably best to book as it gets busy!
